Learn a secret. Create your own impossible moment.
A spectator freely selects a card and returns it to the deck. Moments later, one card appears reversed in the spread: the very card they chose.

The method
- Turn away
After the spectator removes a card, say you will turn your back so you cannot see it.
- Secretly reverse the deck
While turned away, rotate the deck face up, then turn only the bottom card over and place it on top. The deck appears face down.
- Have the card returned
Turn back and keep the deck squared so the audience does not see that most of it is face up.
- Reset behind your back
Move the deck behind your back and reverse the top card so it matches the rest of the deck.
- Reveal the reversed card
Bring the deck out, spread it, and the selected card will be the only card facing the other way.
